Technological research and training are the basic elements that go to form the AURRENAK knowledge base.

In 2002, AURRENAK along with Fagor Arrasate, Batz, Mondragón Assembly and Ona Press joined forces to create the KONIKER Technology Centre in order to provide a coordinated response to R+D projects and exploit existing synergies within the Areas of Shaping, Assembly, Machinery and Tooling.
